Cynthia Erwin

It all started with a secret savings account!

For many years Cynthia Erwin worked the front desk at her husband, Bob's dental office.  Without anyone's knowledge, she was saving every penny.  With her savings and Bob's help, Cynthia bought a Hallmark store in Greenfield, Indiana in 1985.  Bob soon retired from his dental practice to help Cynthia with her dream.

Amazingly successful, the Greenfield store soon required more space prompting a move to a larger storefront.  In 2001, the store was again in need of more room, so the adjoining space was acquired and Cynthia's boutique was born.  At 25,000 square feet, the Greenfield store is the largest Hallmark store in the country!

Cynthia also expanded her dream by opening three stores in Fishers, Indiana!

Cynthia and Bob's family have always been very active in the store.   When Cynthia was diagnosed with Alzheimer's their son Cort, and daughter Kelley took on active rolls in running the store.  Sadly, Cynthia lost her battle with Alzeimer's in 2007, but her legacy continues on.

Cynthia's Hallmark and boutique remains a true family owned and operated business in the hands of her children, Kelley and Cort.  Her dream that started as a savings account is still thriving today!

Cynthia's Hallmark prides itself on it's large variety of Hallmark favorites.  Whether you are looking for the right card, a way to splurge on yourself, or the perfect gift you are sure to find it at our stores.  Many of your favorite lines that are in stock year round include, but definitely are not limited to, Willow Tree, Nora Fleming, Lolita, and Jim Shore.
